ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ

ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਬਚਪਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਅ ਲਈ,
ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਬਸ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਨਿਭਾਅ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਸੋਚੇ ਸਮਝੇ ਚਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ,
ਕੋਈ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਆ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ‘ਚ ਅਪਨਾਉਂਣ ਲਈ,
ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਬਸ ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਹੀ ਅਪਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ,
ਆਪਣਾ ਅੱਜ ਦਾਅ ਤੇ ਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ।।
ਔਗੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦ ਵਿਚ ,
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਣ ਹੀ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ।।
ਰੱਬ ਤਾਂ ਕਣ ਕਣ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਦਾ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ,
ਮੰਦਿਰ ,ਮਸਜ਼ਿਦ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂਦੁਆਰੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਕੀ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ,
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਮਝੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾ।।
ਜੇ ਸਮਝੋ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ,
ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਗਲ ਪਿਆ ਢੋਲ ਵਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਨਜਾਣ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ,
ਬਸ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਲਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਛੁਡਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਜੇ ਪੈਸਾ ਕਮਾਉਂਣਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਖਾਤੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਣੇ ਸੀ,
ਅਸੀਂ ਬਸ ਯਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਕਮਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਕਮੀ ਰਹਿ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵਿਚ ,
ਆਪਣੀ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਿਰ ਸਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜਿਉਂਣ ਦਾ ਵੱਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ,
ਤੇ ਇਹਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤੋਹਮਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਿਰ ਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।।
